In Dubai there are No income tax or trade tax. An exception is the Corporate income tax Dubai's introduced in 2023, which is only 9%.
In order to benefit fully from the Tax exemption in Dubai to benefit, you must have your Deregister residence in Germany and you to the so-called 183 days rule This means that you may not stay in Germany for more than 183 days per year (6 months).
In particular, online entrepreneurs, network marketers, traders, classic companies, coaches, digital nomads & influencers can benefit enormously from setting up a company in the UAE.
Can I continue to live in Germany and still save tax by setting up a company in Dubai?
NO!
According to §6 of the Foreign Tax Act (Außensteuergesetz), you are still liable to tax in Germany on your entire global income if one of the following points applies. Accordingly, your income from Dubai will continue to be taxed in Germany if you live in Germany:
- are registered
- have a residence
- You have the power of the keys
- you have your centre of life or you
- you stay there for more than 183 days a year.
*The same applies to Austria and Switzerland.
